It had to be a top quality design and a size that fits anywhere in homes while being comfortable to play in all different gaming modes including 1 or 2 player gaming and 1-player using all controllers, and transformable to both bartop and full sized arcade cabinet. To enable these experiences, we went through 5 iterations of product prototypes and for the final product, 4 different designs that took over 4 months to complete, before perfecting the final version.

Everyone at iiRcade worked countless sleepless nights making a premium home arcade device.

In July to August 2019, we held user trials with hardcore gamers and got strong positive feedback. Participants in the user trials were professional gamers in Chicago and they play-tested our controller performances and device to perfection.

In January 2020, we announced our product at CES 2020! Our booth had visitors even before the show started and had visitors continuously filling up our booth for the next 4 days of the show. Overall, it was an amazing show where we were able to showcase our product. Our final design was not yet ready for CES and we had to showcase the design that we had ready at the time. Nevertheless, the showcase was a huge success!

iiRcade was also invited to the Golden Globes, Grammys, Superbowl and Oscars, where we showcased our product to celebrities attending these events. The celebrities fell in love with iiRcade and we created a bond with these celebrities who have asked us to follow up when we launch.
